The Happy Beginners School of Learning Transition Program recently hosted an informative parent talk with Occupational Therapist, Mr. Christopher Jeffrey Estreegan, OTRP, last October 2, 2025.
The session aimed to give parents a deeper understanding of the transition program, its objectives, and how it supports the child's overall growth, skills, and independence. Key aspects of the program include setting clear transition goals to promote independence and self-advocacy, occupational therapy to build essential skills like fine motor skills and self-care, and individualized support through assistive technology and visual schedules.
The benefits of such transition programs are numerous, enhancing independence, life skills, and confidence while fostering resilience and collaboration between therapists, educators, and families. By providing a supportive and structured environment, the Happy Beginners School of Learning Transition Program empowers children to thrive and reach their full potential.
